Colonial Theatre Annual Reports

Every year this popular destination with Philadelphia theater goers requires an annual report to give to donors and other members. As opposed to a typical annual report with lots of numbers, this one was designed in a movie-poster style format. The colorful cover included a movie film real image as well as a collage of featured movies. For the annual fund and operations expenditures information, members simply flip over the poster to the other side. This look and feel was so successful that Colonial keeps requesting the same concept every year with a different color scheme.

Prominent architectural elements, such as a circular window and arches, decorate the facade of the historic turn-of-the-century Vaudeville-style house that is now the Colonial Theatre.

Fundraising and Membership Brochure

When the Colonial Theatre began a membership drive to aid in the restoration they asked Miller Designworks to develop an identity program and membership campaign. The oversized brochure featured images of seats with torn covers to expose the urgent need for funding. Colonial Theatre credits Miller Designworks as a partner in helping the organization in reaching their financial goal.

A dynamic and feature-rich web site, The Colonial Theatre was built using WordPress blog software as a content management system. The result is a site that theatre personnel can easily update themselves. It also provides a built-in event system that notifies subscribers via RSS or directly in their calenders.
